Moong Dal(Split Green Gram) Laddu
Moong Dal or split green gram are high source of nutrients including manganese, potassium, folate, iron, zinc etc. They are high source of proteins and dietary fiber.
If you are tired of making the normal dal palak and other curries, it is time for something new, something sweet!! How about a laddu with moong dal!!Sounds yumm??

Instead of adding sugar we are going to add jaggery(non-centrifugal cane sugar) for sweetness.

So here it is!!
Ingredients:

| 1 | Moong Dal(Split Green Gram) | 1 cup |
| 2 | Jaggery | 1 cup |
| 3 | Ghee(clarified butter) | 1 cup |
| 4 | Cardomom | 2 or 3 |
Preparation:
- Dry roast the moong dal until it is golden brown.

- Spread it in a plate for cooling down.
- Once it is cold grind it into powder along with the cardomoms.
- Add jaggery to the powder and grind again.
- Heat the ghee and pour half of it to the powder.
- Mix it and try to make laddus. Add more hot ghee if you can't shape them.
- There it is ! delicious, healthy and easy laddus.
